After developing my illustrative style I felt like it would be a good platform to build my web design off of. I'd tried before, and failed before, to create come form of online portfolio, word press made my head spin and I felt that relying on a behance or linked in alone wouldn't be enough.
This was when I discovered wix, a wonderful site that helps you create interesting online presences with a very easy click and move method of designing. I am not a coder so this worked well for me, it was easy to tweak and change. There were couple of downsides the main one being a limited selection of fonts however I found a font I rather liked and used it throughout the site. I think I will need to use this font for other parts of my branding in order to create a consistency.
I used the illustrative style as my basis creating everything in a similar style- bold lines and bright block colours. I also tried to include the illustrations, where possible, as a main part of the website design.
