This project involved creating a logo for a kickstarter project. I chose to do mine for Pints of Cake, a creative collective including art, recipes, reviews and articles all based around a love for pop culture and pop culture references. The visual was easy enough to come up with, a pint of cake is too strong an idea to ignore. I wanted a bold and rounded font to mimic comic book style type linking it back to the pop culture heritage of the site and used the filled in A to represent a slice of cake.
It only made sense to place it on beer mats when putting it into context and I think they look good there.
