I enjoyed secret 7 last year and knew I wanted to do it again this year. The song of choice for 2015 was Born Slippy by Underworld; a rather psychedelic track closely linked to the drug/rave scene and the movie Trainspotting.
Whilst listening to the song I simply closed my eyes and imagined; the strongest visual I kept coming out with was the image of a boy opening his own chest to reveal his heart and ribcage. I produced the design in a simple vector style and created a trippy background based off of LSD pill design. I feel the two components were just as strong on their own as they were together so I submitted three versions of the final design as shown below.
